Lebanon Center Genesis
Lebanon Center is a 110-bed Genesis HealthCareSM Skilled Nursing Facility, located in Lebanon, NH. The center offers a Transitional Care Unit specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation, ShortStay and LongTerm care.
Lebanon Center’s TCU provides rehabilitation therapy and treatment after leaving the hospital but before returning home. It follows a patient-centered, outcome focused approach to treatment with the goal of helping patients recover and return to their prior living situation as quickly as possible. The TCU is designed with the short-term patient in mind and focuses on patients who have orthopedic issues such a fractures and joint replacements; post surgical, post stroke or neurological issues; or a variety of medical concerns that result in a need to regain abilities. The average length of stay is typically three to four weeks.
Lebanon Center is the only ShortStay Facility in the area to offer LiteGait, a training device for patients recovering from conditions that cause a decline in quality arm and leg movements, otherwise known as gait. This equipment, as well as the additional state of the art rehabilitation equipment and modalities, assists the Lebanon Center rehab and nursing team in accelerating a patient’s recovery and return to home.
In 2010, the center underwent renovations, featuring new and modernized décor. The renovated and redesigned space features updated and enhanced patient rooms with amenities such as microwaves and refrigerators in each patient room, and telephone and satellite connectivity in all patient rooms. The center also has a renovated café with always available menu items.
