IMPORTANT SERVICE FOR FAMILY CAREGIVERS!

You may know that the Lake Sunapee VNA has an adult day care program on Friday’s in Lebanon at the United Methodist Church. There is a Grand Re-Opening on Friday, May 2nd. Please let the families you work know about it.

They currently offer the Adult Day Out program 2x/wk in New London and 1x/wk in Lebanon on Fridays at the Lebanon United Methodist Church form 930a – 3p. The cost is $40.00 and that includes lunch. They are not a medical model so do not dispense medication during this time.  The program is run by an LNA with volunteers and has RN oversight and provides assistance with toileting and activities.

Also, there is a volunteer opportunity to help this group. They are looking for a creative person to volunteer to do some activities that day. If you have any ideas, let Debbie Andersson know at 526-4077 x240.
