About the Chamber

The Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce has served businesses, non-profit organizations and municipalities since 1916. Our membership territory includes; Lebanon, West Lebanon, Enfield, Plainfield, Meriden and Canaan. Over 350 members receive Advocacy, Service and Information from the Chamber.

About the Executive Director

Rob Taylor is the Executive Director of the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce, he was appointed to the position in November of 2016. Mr. Taylor possesses a wealth of knowledge about the Upper Valley and is enthusiastic about addressing the needs of membership and the entire region. He is a lifelong resident of the Town of Plainfield, NH, where he has served as a Selectman since 2001. In addition, he has co-owned and operated Taylor Farm Inc. and Taylor Brothers Sugarhouse and Creamery in Meriden, NH (both are family businesses) since 1993. Mr. Taylor is a graduate of Lebanon High School (Class of 1989) and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/ US Government from Keene State College (1993). Prior to managing his family enterprises, Mr. Taylor also worked for Catamount Brewing Co., in White River Junction, VT and at Red River Computer Co., of Claremont, NH. He currently resides in Plainfield’s Meriden Village with his wife and two children.

Visiting the Upper Valley

Visiting the Upper Valley is easy! We are just two hours by car from Boston and five hours from New York City. We consider ourselves to be at the crossroads of New England, Interstates 89 and 91 intersect just across the Connecticut River in White River Junction. Vermont. Most people drive to our area, but there are plenty of public transit options as well.

  • By Auto: Interstates 89 and 91, Rt. 4, Rt. 10, Rt. 12A and Rt. 120
  • By Air: Lebanon’s Municipal Airport has Cape Air (a Chamber Member) service to and from Boston’s Logan airport and New York’s Westchester County Airport (with limo service to New York City). https://www.capeair.com/
